Introduction: There are many children struggling at school with learning disabilities. Many children are not reaching their potential. Besides learning issues, these children have trouble connecting socially and making friends. There may also be specific physical and emotional issues for each child. Brain healing seems indicated.
Often the mother is doing the main part of the care giving. They can be tired and may have emotional and physical issues of their own. Schools have supportive staff that can aid students to a degree.
The main allopathic treatment is medicine like Ritalin. This is the widely accepted mainstream approach to treating these children, and while it may reduce some symptoms, it does not reverse the root cause of the disability.
Purpose of the study: To determine if alternative therapies including diet, remedies and emotional healing could create better functioning brains for children with learning disabilities. Additionally, to determine if any improvements through alternative brain healing therapy last longer than the time the remedies and other therapies are taken and used. The overall goal is to address the root cause of the problem, thus leading to permanent results and continued improvement for each child according to their specific needs.
Adults supervising children on a daily basis are the most likely to be able to see their issues as well as any improvements that might result. Children can be more easily evaluated if seen every day. While this is not possible for health care providers, their caregivers, in most cases, their mothers, do have this level of interaction with the children. The health care provider will work with the mothers and caregivers to gain access to the daily assessment of the children.
Case 1: AS – 3 years old. Not speaking and having trouble comprehending what is said to him. Physical symptoms include digestive issues and skin rashes. The mother is making all of his meals and snacks with a short list of food ingredients that AS does not seem to react to.
In Chinese medicine, the digestive system and brain are treated together, so working on his digestion was determined to be the first priority for AS in the process of healing the brain. AS was given personalized vibrational remedies every 3 to 6 months. Each remedy was determined by understanding his current symptoms and tuning into him intuitively. The remedies improved his digestion and his immune system, so that his reactions to foods were reduced and the range of food choices was increased. After several sessions, not only was AS able to eat a greater variety of foods, he was able to eat some healthy pre-made commercially available snack food, saving his mother the work of handling all food preparation.
Healing the brain
After another few sessions, while continuing to monitor his digestion, brain healing with specific remedies was begun. After about two years, AS was able to make eye contact and follow more instructions. AS went to preschool and had an aide who understood him and made a good emotional connection with him. AS was stressed going to school, but his mother persisted. After a few months, the aide was put in another classroom, and AS reacted by not wanting to go to school and became distant when he was there. Eventually the aide was brought back into the class. As the remedies continued, AS gradually became more comfortable with the others in the class and did not need that specific aide to be present all the time.
AS now understands some words, is able to do some sign language and speaks a few words. He also has a book that he can use to make his needs known by selecting pictures and showing that is what he wants. For example, he is able to point to the picture of spaghetti to communicate that this is what he would like to eat. AS is able to understand that spaghetti may not always be on the day’s menu is able to accept this without having an emotional reaction.
Case 2: GS 5 years old. GS is the older brother of Case 1: AS. He was attending school but having difficulty learning. The symptoms expressed were becoming quiet at school, lacking self confidence, having poor comprehension, and often being angry at home. GS had some digestive issues like his brother. Work began with his digestion, absorption and mineral balance right away. The brain was then able to get the proper nutrients to create strong function. Eating high quality foods like protein and vegetables, digesting them well, having the kidneys send the minerals to the brain allowed the body to rebuild and create even better functions in the brain.
GS had trouble finding words and expressing himself. That was balanced with brain healing remedies and enzyme remedies. After this, the next remedies did not show any improvement for the current symptoms. Intuitively, spiritual healing was determined to be the next step for GS to continue to heal.
Past life regression therapy
The mother consented to past life regression therapy. The session was used through the mother on behalf of her children. This revealed a past life when GS and AS were again brothers, and GS felt responsible for AS. In this life, GS was not allowing the remedies to work since he was worried he was leaving AS behind. From the past life regression work, that emotional wound was healed and the remedies once again worked. GS was seen for 3 sessions that year.
Sometimes GS does not try new things, worrying that these tasks will be too hard. There are still times he is angry and frustrated after the year at school. Different areas of the brain are currently being worked on for more efficiency of brain function and less emotional frustration. GS is more confident at school and does not control other children as he used to do. He is keeping up with grade 2 requirements. His mother is noticing the difference in GS in the completion of the second year of remedies.
Case 3: Mother of Case 1 AS and Case 2 GS. The mother is the main care giver and works full time to provide for the family. She has done much research on diet, neurological solutions and alternative healing in supplements and energy work. The mother has also been receiving treatment here for the past 2 years. Her symptoms include tiredness and worry from the great responsibility she feels for her children. Sessions provided emotional support, feedback about how her sons were doing physically and emotionally, and getting a sense of their future possibilities. Remedies were provided as needed, mostly to balance the effects of stress and long hours.
At this point, the mother can see that the treatment is working and both boys are progressing. AS speaks more and GS is less angry and finding school less stressful.
Case 4: JL Age 21. JL is considered autistic with outbursts of anger sometimes causing damage to his environment. JL repeats things often, understands to a point, but does not progress in his ability to live independently and think for himself. One of the first areas of concern for JL was the instability of his life. His mother is responsible for JL except for a few hours each day. She has limited financial resources and does not eat well or provide balanced meals for JL. JL’s mother agreed to do what she could to have her environment be more stable food wise, but there was no evidence to support that any significant changes were made. The financial aspect is beyond her control in the short term. There does not seem to be anyone in her life who can provide more for them.
Overall, remedies were given for JL to activate specific areas of the brain – to balance brain neurotransmitters, emotions like fear and anxiety and help decrease repetitive behaviour. After several sets of remedies and several months of treatment, no change was noticed. Treatment has been discontinued.
Case 5: Mother of JL. The mother seemed to have trouble eating regularly due to symptoms that occurred after eating. She felt much anger, stress and headaches on a daily basis. The mother felt deeply responsible for JL and could not see a better future. She hoped as JL got older that he would improve. Emotional healing and coaching was used to talk about different possibilities. In this case, there did not seem to be a possibility for healing due to an unstable life environment and no help available.
After several sets of remedies and several months, there was very little change noticed with the mother, so treatment has stopped.
Highlights from Previous Studies:
Girl age 10 with learning disabilities and trouble getting to sleep. In taking the health history, it was determined that this girl was not eating sufficient protein and vegetables during the day. She was being raised by her grandmother, who did not realize that would cause symptoms. After 2 weeks of a more balanced diet, this girl started to sleep more easily and had much better results at school. The grandmother realized the connection from the results and made sure her granddaughter ate a more balanced diet.
Boy age 11 with learning disabilities and night terrors. In the first two sessions, he was mistrusting of taking remedies and allowing them to work. At the third session, his mother insisted he give the remedies a better try. At this point, the night terrors decreased and stopped. His mother said that upon returning to school in the fall, he was not just better, but a whole well adjusted boy with confidence.
Girl age 12 diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. This girl was an overachiever, but her brain was not working well. She turned her frustration inward without asking for help. She then became quite depressed. Depression is often a symptom and side effect of Aspergers and learning disabilities. After two sets of remedies were taken, about two months apart, school seemed easier. Her personality was lighter. Her parents then started her in therapy to learn how to express her emotions.
Vibrational remedies, balancing diet and emotional healing can all help to improve cognitive functions through brain healing. Remedies alone cannot compensate for diet deficiencies or unresolved emotional issues. As long as there is good support in the family with a stable environment, proper nutrition and sleep, the results build on previous results. The positive results achieved were all long lasting. Overall, it seems possible to heal the brain and create a life of possibilities.
Some of these case studies are ongoing and will be updated at another time on my website.

A note about Seizures:
I have worked with children who have seizures, though not in the context of this study. In trying to find children with seizures, the children were taking medicine to decrease seizure activity. The parents were not comfortable changing anything or adding remedies into the treatment plan due to fears of increased seizure activity as a possible result.
In the children I worked with outside of this study with seizures:
- In the cases I saw, the communication to the brain was disrupted or incomplete.
- The seizures were greatly lessened when remedies were taken for clear communication to the brain from the body.
- Once the neural pathways were operating without interruption and complete to the deep brain, the seizures stopped.
One child with seizures stopped the remedies before they were complete. The seizures then returned in frequency. Based on feedback from the mother, it seemed her son may have missed all the attention he got when he had the seizures. The mother understood this and made sure he was getting sufficient attention and saw that the remedies were completed. The seizures then stopped.
